Who We Are
Mark is a degreed Electrical Engineer from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Mark spent 13 years in automotive and 8 years in aerospace. While in aerospace, he developed his leadership skills and left as a COO. The leadership team from Mark’s aerospace company purchased Vendura where they are busy implementing their entrepreneurial vision of Customer Delight through Employee Development and Empowerment.
Mark and Karyn have been married for more than 25 years and have 3 sons, ages 23, 21 and 19. They live in Muskego WI and besides visiting their children, they enjoy time at their vacation home in Door County WI.
Nick graduated from Edgewood College in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. After school, Nick worked various jobs in the construction industry until hired at Vendura in 2019 as a Project Manager. Nick's favorite part of being a Project Manager is developing relationships with customers and working to overcome different challenges everyday.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys staying busy with his many hobbies. Whether he is backpacking, camping, cross country skiing, or taking ATV trips in Northern Wisconsin, he is always looking for an adventure. Nick completed the tasks of hiking the entire Appalachian Trail in 2017. When he's not spending time outdoors, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing video games.
Cristina is the Office Manager at Vendura Industries. She has been with Vendura for 9 years and is known as the backbone of our company. She does a great job getting things done and holding others accountable. Cristina handles everything from accounting and payroll to purchasing and shipping. If you call Vendura and get her on the phone, she will surely be able to get you where you need to go!
Most of the time when Cristina is not at the office she can be found outside. She loves to travel, tend to her garden, and go on long walks with her husband and their dog, Daisy. She finds much joy in supplying her family and the Vendura team with her amazing baked goods and other recipes from back home. Cristina also loves to spend time visiting her son, Sebastian, in Minnesota.
Collin studied Journalism at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. After College in 2017, Collin moved to the Madison Area where he worked as a Banker and Lender until taking the role of Account Manager here at Vendura in January of 2022. Collin takes pride in his relationship-building as this is his favorite aspect of working with his clients. Also involved in the community, Collin has volunteered with The United Way of Dane County and other various nonprofit organizations to help give back.
When not in the office, Collin can be found at the golf course working on his short game, diving into a new book or engaging in board games and trivia. Collin enjoys partaking in outdoor activities and is a huge Wisconsin sports fan so the chances of him being at a Badgers Sporting event are very high no matter what season or sport. Apart from the action, Collin is spending quality time with his family which includes his little cat, Jack, his niece, Fife, and his girlfriend, Natalie.
Shawn graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Environmental Design. He has 21 years of experience working in the design/engineering field for different industries. He has worked at Vendura Industries since 2017 as the Manufacturing Engineer.
Shawn has two children and two stepchildren that always keep him on his toes, as he enjoys spending time with them in his free time. He is an avid sports fan and played football at Northern Michigan University. Today, he is a bit more content watching the kids carry on the tradition.
David Rusher, CCT/CP
David Rusher graduated from the Home Builder Institute of Technology in Reno, NV in 1990. After college, David spent nine years working in the field of agricultural science in California. In 2000, David relocated to Pardeeville, WI to pursue in situ polymerization. David joined the Vendura team in 2012 where he has pursued in his role as a Compliance/Quality Manager. David is the science behind the production, creating precise formulas to meet the criteria of every customer’s request.
In 1993, David married his wife, Kelly, and raised two boys together. David and Kelly have enjoyed making private stock fruit wines to share with family and friends on special occasions for the past 16 years. One of David’s favorite hobbies is collecting rare silver coins and bars. He took interest at the age of ten, and it remains one of his favorite hobbies along with in-situ polymerization.
